The first part of my interview process was a phone call from a hiring manager who set salary and work expectations as well as detailed the steps involved in the interview process. The second call came from the senior employee in the editorial department who described the position and what the department was looking for (high caliber writing), followed by asking me about my previous work experience. Finally, the hiring team emailed me a writing test, which required me to produce copy regarding a trend/issue related to software.
