Terrible experience with recruiter with first round interviewer. First, she began the virtual interview nearly 30 minutes late. And when she appeared, she looked as if she just woke up. Then, she asked for time to pull up my resume and was reading it (verbally!) in front of me while I waited awkwardly. Shouldn't this be done before the interview? Candidates take time to prepare for interviews and I would expect any recruiter worth their salt to show similar respect by putting in the work too. Midway, her phone rang and she excused herself while she used her phone openly while I waited yet again for a minute or so. Never have I met such an interviewer who is so cavalier and disrespectful! Throughout the rest of the interview, she also kept rubbing her eyes and stumbling over what kind of questions to ask.. It reflected really poorly on her. While I understand that SAP is a large company and that recruiter I met probably is not representative of the rest of the people, it put me off terribly. Hope the company can reevaluate your gatekeepers. Overall, not a great experience with this particular recruiter.
