I applied online and received a call as a first stage screening. The conversation seemed quite distant, automated if that makes sense. Clearly the person who was calling me for the screening has not read my application/CV as lacked the basic information on my background. Very fast outcome response within a day which was great. Invited to second interview. Again it felt not greatly friendly but ok. Again great turnaround for the outcome within a day confirming I passed to the final stage. Then I was given a date by email which has never been confirmed by the Chime invite eventhough they have effectively confirmed by email. A day before the date of the final interviews, I had to enquire by email only to find out the interviews will not take place the next day. No news after that for a few days eventhough I was told they would come back with a new date as they are struggling to organise diaries. Upon enquiring by email (as I was also at the final stages of two other companies) I just received a standard/automated rejection email!So they rejected after offering final interviews. Terrible practice and tells me a lot about how they work. After all, I am glad I have not progressed. If they are treating candidates like this in a job market with lacking candidates, that cannot say anything good about their talent acquisition.
