J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon
Entretien
This interview was for AWS Sydney, with a Sydney HR representative.
Great interview process, not too difficult questions but broad amount of knowledge required in my specialty. The interviewers were friendly and team lead even held an extra session to answer any concerns about the role.
Even though the interview experience was great, what killed the entire process was the HR representative that spoke to me post-interview / offer negotiation and acceptance stage. She was rude throughout the discussions, was delayed in responding to my emails for days even though I was pressured to provide a response within the week. Its only logical that you respond to my questions about the offer promptly if you want me to accept ASAP and were not willing to extend the deadline? When I declined the offer, she didn't even bother replying to my email. A little human touch goes a long way?
Also, they weren't willing to offer me equal or above my base salary at the time, meaning I would've had to take a pay cut which is ridiculous. I negotiated by providing evidence of an existing offer at another FAANG plus my current salary, but still did not budge.
Their stock vesting schedule is also a joke.
