Review is for a phone screen for a senior level full stack position on the AWS UI team. Amazon recruiters were helpful in sending some interview prep documents that pointed to some sites with typical interview questions. The preparation material stressed Data Structures and algorithms. However, the phone screen consisted mostly of JavaScript trivia and term definitions. There was no clue given in the preparation material that suggested the nature of the phone screen so the preparation material was useless. Programming question was an impractical JavaScript single page application problem. I wasn't prepared for the interview because I concentrated my preparation efforts on the data structure/algorithm type of interview questions, rather than reviewing the text book definitions of JavaScript concepts.
