It was disappointing when we talk about a reputed organization like Thomson.... I got mail for the interview late evening and was called early morning next day... the email did not provide any particular detail about the person to be contacted or so... moreover there was no particular address of the company found on google in vadodara... i search for about 30mins and finally reached the venue before time...i was made to sit for like an hour as other candidates arrived late..to our surpise we had a quantitative abikity test, followed by Group discussion and PI.... the interview went well ..they even discussed the compensation and all...the process took around 5 hrs after which was told i will b informed further by the TR person... after even after 20-25 days no follow up reply was given by the company
..i guess they should atleast have basic business etiquette of sending courtesy mail to people who arent selected as well so that we dont wait for the results and can proceed further peacefully...horrible experience...

They will invite you to answer an electronic exam first consisting of questions about finance and investment management, Once you pass the exam HR will interview you and after passing it a panel interview will come. Mine has around 4 managers who interviewed me about technical knowledge and soft skills you can offer.

The interview process was constructed really well. Very welcoming and forthcoming. Definitely developed a rapport and a great buzz all round. Good all round chat around the business and team and what they were looking to develop grow and establish, couldn't ask for a different prociess all round.
