Interview experience was pretty standard of large tech companies: lead recruiter/recruiting coordinator on point to schedule interviews and answer questions. Nothing really out of the ordinary with this except for a few (forgivable) delays. Everyone I interviewed with was extremely pleasant and provided positive feedback to my recruiter. However, this is where the problem arises: after about 6 weeks of interviewing, spread over six interviews, and an intensive take home assignment culminating in an hour-long panel presentation for the final round, I was eliminated from contention with the only feedback being that I didn't have 'enough hands-on experience.' That's a completely fair evaluation that the hiring manager is entitled to have - but my experience was a constant throughout the process. It didn't change, and I feel like this is something that could have been determined in the first one, two, three, four, or even five interviews - but definitely could have been determined before the assignment phase. All in, felt like a huge waste of time and massive effort. A rejection for another reason would have gone over better - but just felt like this could have been avoided and I'm left feeling my time wasn't respected or valued.

Clear communication, organized process. Appreciated their openness and even aligning a buddy within the company to learn more about their culture from. I’d be happy to interview with them again for another chance.

Interviews were extremely positive, with a friendly and supportive tone across four team members and leaders. Unfortunately, after almost completing the full interview loop, I was completely ghosted with no follow-up or closure. This lack of communication felt unprofessional and disappointing given the time investment required and that I was working with a recruiter. Not a good look for their people culture.

Entretien
The interview process is very lengthy compared to other places I have interviewed with. It is 4 parts and the first 2 people you speak with are a recruiter and HR where they basically ask similar questions. In my experience, the hiring managers for both roles acted so impressed with my experience, our conversation, and seemed genuinely interested in me possibly joining the team, to the extent they were going to skip the panel interview. But then I received a non-selection letter. I also interviewed for a role and got all the way through the process , for them to tell me they didn’t have permission to hire for the role right now but would be in touch. I have wasted so much of my time. It would be nice if they would tell you upfront and be honest if they don’t believe you are a good fit for what they are looking for, instead of making you think you may get offered the role.
