I had couple of rounds with the talent acquisition team/hiring team. Post that I was told there will be 3 rounds.
I had one with Senior Manager, one with Director and one with Partner. All scheduled on same day.
All the rounds went very well and in the call I was given feedback that I will be a good fit in the org and they will pass the positive feedback for next steps.
After 3 days, recruiter told me that he has got fantastic feedback and they are looking for billable opportunity as they have couple of projects as options.
After this the dragging game started. They came back asking for not a casual call but more like another decision making call between 2 directors who were supposedly having those 2 projects. So that they can decide.
That is when I decided to raise concern, if the feedback was good, then ideally I should get offer first and then you can let me talk to any of the Unit managers or client for projects.
But seems it is time wasting tactics by PwC where they just keep people on hold without identifying the opportunity first.
Had I given additional rounds ,then what was the point of having initial rounds till Partner level where I received fantastic feedback.
