J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez PwC (Birmingham, Angleterre) en janv. 2020

      Entretien

Started off with the basic online application, and if you're qualified they invite you to the situational judgement; one good thing about PwC is that they're RAPID. If you pass a stage they'll send you a (nicely enthusiastic) email about a day later inviting you to the next stage. First stage was the situational judgement; it's random POV videos where you'll be presented a scenario. Bearing in mind that PwC want you to pretty much sell your soul and work as hard as possible, it's a fairly easy one. Next stage is that dodgy, psuedo-science "career unlocked" app. It's a psychometric test in the form of a mobile. Bear in mind they aren't assessing your reaction time - they're checking to see how you handle pressure and if failure derails you, how quickly you see patterns and evaluate risk. Pass this and I think it's video interview time - they were quite difficult, and I don't think I did particularly well but I still got through so I imagine it's a case of 'so long as you don't totally screw up you're probably good enough'. Questions were typically scenario based (e.g. "You're working with colleagues over the phone from around the world - how do you ensure effective communication?"), one about "why PwC?" (hint: learn their company values and talk about how you resonate with them), and a final case study where they give you 10 minutes to analyse some information related to the line of service you applied to, and 5 minutes to present your conclusions. Next step is the dreaded assessment centre, and out of the three I've done PwC was by far the hardest. Of course, this does mean you don't have to do as well to pass, so I guess it's not really harder than any other assessment centre, but the actual work was tricky so make sure you bring your A-game. It's a role-play thing; you're given a laptop and a time-table for the day, and your assessments are a bunch of fake emails to reply to. There'll be about 10-12 of you and you're split into 2 for the tasks, which will be similar to the last video interview question. You're given (via fake email) some information about a fake business, and have half an hour or so to read through it; there is A LOT of information ( at least 80 pages if memory serves) so there's a clear emphasis on sifting and identifying key figures. You'll then get 10 minutes to discuss with your team, and your first task is to write a 1000 word report - individually - on the client. It'll be a SWOT - Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats - analysis followed by your recommendation for how PwC can help their client achieve their goals, which might be expansion without compromising their values, etc.. You only get 50 minutes for this report, and given the volume of information required it's clearly impossible to produce a correct conclusion, having carefully considered all the available resources. I would therefore suggest producing A conclusion; it doesn't have to be perfect, but just produce any logical suggestion that you can provide reasonable evidence for. At this point, they will spice things up. Shock Horror! A new client has emerges, and half of you will be taken to join half of the other team to pretty much repeat this process (except instead of a report, it's a group presentation to the assessors). Time pressure is INTENSE. You get slightly less but still too much information and about 30 minutes to digest it, answer the questions and plan a 10 group presentation. The chances of you managing to successfully plan an informative 10 minute group seminar with people you've never met and read >5 pages of information and then think of a meaningful conclusion to talk about is about nil. I would therefore advise taking the time to digest as much information available, and ensuring you prove you're an effective communicator by being vocal and pro-active in the following group discussion. Don't worry too much about planning the seminar; you'll have to be comfortable thinking on your feet and possible winging it when at least one of the six people in your group inevitably over / under runs or says stuff you were planning to say. They will also ask you questions about your conclusions; there IS a correct answer to the seminar (the question was "what line of service would you recommend for this company") but even if you get this wrong, the emphasis is on how you think so as long as you can defend your opinion whilst showing that you at least considered alternate options you've done well. Final step for the day is a short, 15 minute reflective 1 on 1. They may spring another "why PwC?" question on you, but it's mostly looking back on what you may have done differently on the day. If you're doing a tech line of service role, you have a partner interview still to do, which I didn't make it through to. It's the final stage if you applied to a non-tech line, though.
