Lets talk about the recruitment process first.
The first round is the IPAT. The test is divided in two sections. The sections are analytical ability test and technical ability test. In this test the questions are related to time, distance, ratio proportion, puzzles, number system and number series. The student may get questions related to computer hardware and software in the technical section.
In our case, the marks division was 18x1 + 18x1, Each question had a timer of 135 seconds, It was in a forward only process (one cannot go back to previous question if skipped). Also the timer wasn't cumulative (there was no bonus time for solving faster)
NOTE: The number series were difficult and challenging sometimes.
The next round is the Kenexa test. There were 20 question (20x1 format) with a 22 minute cumulative timer. This section was relatively easy and straight forward. You will be asked to find grammatical errors in a given sentence. Also, your vocabulary and basic English skills (like understanding of punctuation, active/passive voice) will be verified.
In our case shortlisted candidates from these two rounds were asked to appear for the interview.
There were multiple panels of interviewer (25 panels in our case).
Interview was very direct and straight forward, and very much friendly.
NOTE: IBM has the most transparent recruitment process imaginable. They communicate directly with the candidate and there is no mediator involved (your institute will act as host only, at the end of the day you will have most of the information about the progress of the process)

Question 1
The one thing that they asked me was what technology are u familiar with that IBM uses
The process was okay but the result of the interview took so much time. NO reply to the mails as well. interview was offline and has 3 different rounds. one language round, then coding round and then interview.
First round was a language round that was conducted online. We were asked multiple simple questions in English to test our listening, speaking and reading skills. The next round was a coding assessment round. We were shown two questions of easy-medium level difficulty from the competitive coding website Hacker Rank. The 3rd round was a behavioral assessment round where we were given 5 questions and for each question we were allotted 5 mins to answer before the system automatically submits and goes to the next question. The questions were similar to "Explain about a situation where your leadership allowed for a problem to be solved" etc. The last round was the interview round where they asked both technical and non technical questions. The technical questions that were asked where from the projects we have made that were noted down on our resumes.
