There is a long wait for anything within GE... nothing happens quick!! Another thing that strikes me oddly is the power and control of HR. They have more say so than the hiring manager/ interviewer over who gets selected and salary negotiations are pretty much "take it or leave it". I thought there would be some quick feedback after the interview, but it took 3 weeks before I had a response with a verbal offer and asked if I was still interested. Then a formal offer was submitted a few days later.

Recruiters came to our campus for hiring. There was a simple test first, a theoretical multiple choice. Shortlisted candidates were then interviewed. Engineering manager and HR interview each lasted approx. 1 hr.

It was good. Not very time taking. However 3 senior leaders took the interview together. HR interview was easy. not much questions asked, it was mostly on salary expectation. overall experience is good.
