I applied online and I was contacted by a representative for a follow up email and to provide more details about my work including samples. Then I got another email explaining the full process at which point we arranged a phone interview. The job title as advertised was not entirely accurate since they required more than what a designer usually does and apart the visual and technical aspects, the company needs a person who also has skills in web marketing, SEO and analytics. That means the designer had to think of something, design it, execute it and measure the results, a combo of web graphics designer/developer/marketer.

First I had a great conversation with the recruiter, after that I made a simple coding test. The next step was a interview with two UX designers from Booking. It was a fun conversation, they asked about my design process, about A/B testing, they asked me to do a real time coding test and asked me some improvements for booking website. For me this was the most difficult part because it's their job. I'll still waiting for the final feedback.
