The process was pretty simple: you send in your CV, a recruiter calls for you for a very short chat (asking you to be prepared in case of potential relocation, salary expectations - be prepared!) and then a meeting via Skype with the hiring manager and the team is set to talk about your experience and hear about expectations.
If you get through it you are invited in the Amsterdan HQ for a final assessment - Booking arranges everything from flight to hotel and they are very flexible in setting a comfortable time for the candidates so they are not too tired from the trip or they don't have to rush. They really try to get you comfortable.
The last inter view lasts approx 3 hours: 1 hour with two future colleagues, 1 hour to prepare a case study and then present it to the hiring manager and the head of department, another hour with further future colleagues.
Overall, a great transparency in communications, availability of both managers and recruiters. A truly pleasant experience with no waiting times and a very specific personalized feedback at the end of each step.
Not getting the position was sad, but the feedback from the recruiter was so precise and clear that I was truly positively surprised. Congrats Booking team!
