World Health Day sets the stage for highlighting the commitment of Indonesian youth to transform the health system in an inclusive and data-driven manner. Halodoc is proud to join as one of the speakers at the Indonesia Youth Health Summit (IYHS) 2026 by Youth Health Hub Indonesia (YHHI), a collaborative platform that unites youth health organizations into a coordinated and evidence‑based advocacy movement. Through the panel discussion on ‘Health Systems: Mewujudkan Layanan Inklusif, Tangguh, dan Berkeadilan’ , dr. Irwan Heriyanto, MARS, Chief of Medical Halodoc shared how the combination of digital innovation, sustainable financing, and cross‑sector collaboration can expand access, improve primary care, and support health workers in delivering quality services. He stated, “One of Indonesia’s biggest healthcare challenges is unequal access. In momentum with World Immunization Week 2026, we are proud to announce our partnership with PT Takeda Innovative Medicines to deliver a one-stop solution, from access to health information and education to doctor consultations, as well as further preventive measures to enhance comprehensive protection for families against dengue cases. Dengue remains a major public health challenge, with data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia showing that the average number of dengue cases in the past five years has nearly tripled compared to twenty years ago. Halodoc’s strength in digital health access, combined with Takeda’s proven track record in vaccine development, enables this collaboration to deliver targeted education on dengue prevention for healthcare professionals and public education via Halodoc’s digital platform, including access to dengue vaccination in Halodoc’s Homecare service. Through a symbolic partnership ceremony with Andreas Gutknecht, President Director of PT Takeda Innovative Medicines, Jonathan Sudharta, CEO & Co‑founder of Halodoc, stated, “Our partnership with Takeda has already doubled access to dengue vaccination services earlier this year compared to the previous quarter, and we hope to reach and educate even more communities across Indonesia.” Through sustained efforts, Takeda and Halodoc aim to help reduce the dengue disease burden and protect public health.

In commemoration of World Immunization Week, Halodoc joined with MSD in IVAXCON event - the Indonesian Vaccine Convention–discussing the future of vaccine education through effective immunization campaigns and communication, overcoming hesitancy and misinformation to ensure vaccines reach communities everywhere and remain a foundation of public trust. As one of the speakers, dr. Irwan Heriyanto, MARS, Chief of Medical Halodoc, stated that one of the main challenges for doctors in the digital era is caused by misleading narrative on social media, which enables non‑medical claims to compete with clinical evidence and often leads patients to self‑diagnose from non‑credible sources before consulting a doctor. To bridge this gap, Halodoc provides structured patient education and certified training for medical professionals through Halodoc Academy, certified by the Ministry of Health in 2025. He also highlighted the role of technology as a clinical support that builds trust between doctors and patients—seen when Halodoc’s digital ecosystem enabled drive‑thru vaccination services that made immunization easier and more efficient for healthcare workers and the government. Through panel discussions with the theme "IDE - CONNECT!11 Road to Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIE) Jakarta Summit: Breaking Health Barriers”, Ardhitya Rinaldo, Managing Director of Halodoc, with dr. Elvieda Sariwati, M.Epid - Director of Primary Healthcare Service Governance Ministry of Health, RESTUNING WIDIASIH, Researcher at Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, Yuni Dwi Setiyawati, CEO of the Summit Institute for Development, and dr. Randy H. Teguh, MM, Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Device Development Assosiation, shared insights on combating healthcare disparities in Indonesia with the role of digital technologies. Ardhitya Rinaldo emphasized the importance of stakeholder collaboration to overcome healthcare access challenges—by raising public awareness of telemedicine as a trusted option and educating communities to make informed health decisions, enabling broader and more equitable access to quality care.
