J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez lululemon (Calgary, AB) en août 2011
Entretien
I applied online, 2 hours later got an email asking me to come to the group interview the next morning. At the group interview (about 10 people, we all sat on the floor) we were asked a lot of questions about our lifestyles and why we like Lululemon. While we did not go in a circle order, everyone was encouraged to answer every question. The group interview took about an hour. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and we all got to learn a few facts about each other. We were told that they would contact us within 2 days. 2 hours later, they called and asked me to come in the following week for a 1:1 interview. I came in for the interview, and it was done by 2 managers. Still a "relaxed" atmosphere, but a little less relaxed than the group. They asked a lot of questions about my lifestyle, what activities I was currently doing. There didn't really seem to be any set questions, they would more just feed off of the answers I gave them and allowed those to fuel their next questions. This interview only took about 15 minutes. I was told I would be contacted by the end of the day as to whether I got the position or not. They contacted me later that evening, and offered a position; I accepted.

Group interview with multiple candidates and the manager and assistant manager. You get asked a question by the manager and everyone takes turns answering the questions and then repeat until the interview is complete. Then they call you for round two.
Personality based interview centered on empathy and being an overall nice person that is understanding and open minded. Wait times vary for callbacks and positions are often applied to by a lot of people.
The interview focused less on technical retail knowledge and more on personality, communication, teamwork, customer experience, and alignment with the company values and culture.
The questions required thoughtful and personal answers, so preparation definitely helps. It felt like they were looking for authenticity, self awareness, and strong people skills rather than scripted answers.
Advice for candidates: prepare real examples from previous experiences and practice speaking naturally on camera. Energy and communication style seem very important in the process.
