      Entretien

I really enjoyed interviewing with this company but I felt like they made some mistakes along the way and I am very disappointed about a few things that turned this otherwise positive interview experience into a mildly negative one. First off, they have an incredibly succinct hiring process. They call you and email you when they say they will and give you feedback of how you are doing along the way. I really admire how great their process is, which is why I am so disappointed about how it eventually turned out. I kind of felt that I no longer mattered to them once they knew they weren't going to hire me. I was approached by their recruiter a few weeks after I had submitted my resume. They sent me an email through Jobvite and the interview process began from there. I had an initial call with the recruiter, a phone call with the manager for the department, another phone call that required me to give them a demo of their product, then a "final" interview in person with about 3 different people at their offices in San Francisco that took a total of 2 hours. That's a LOT of time to put towards an interview process that resulted in nothing. Considering that I advanced through all of the interviews, to the in-person interviews, I thought I did pretty well. No one really gave me any indication that I did not do well. In fact, I got high praises for my demo so you can imagine my confusion and disappointment when I received a generic, auto-generated email from Jobvite saying that I did not receive the position. Considering that I went that far and got along with everyone I interviewed with, you would think they would have had more respect for me as a candidate to give me a personal call to let me know WHY I did not get the job so I could improve. Or even an email explaining why I did not get the position. It seems like they really hide behind Jobvite at certain times. Instead of just being honest. I can only assume that it came down to the salary. Retrospectively, I realized that we didn't really discuss salary and it was NOT made clear what the position was paying. All they asked was what my salary expectations were. I was actually never even told what the position paid. I think that had that been clearly discussed in the beginning, I would not have been led on through the whole process only to find out that they couldn't pay me what I required. I now feel that the one month process was a complete waste of time. And believe me, I wouldn't have wasted my time if they hadn't made me feel like I nailed it and had a really good shot of getting the job. Despite my confusion and disappointment, I wish them the best of luck and I wish you (future candidate) good luck as well. Just be sure to make everything clear in the beginning to avoid being led on. Your time is valuable and they should respect you and your time. Don't settle for anything less.

      Question 1

They asked a lot of sales questions so you better be prepared to have good answers. They are majorly sales driven so know your stuff.
