I thought the interview process was short, but quite efficient. The hiring managers were quick and communicative, and I received notification about the status of my applications quickly. I will say that it felt a bit impersonal given it was a phone call, and would have preferred a virtual interview, but it was ok.

I applied online and later contacted to conduct a phone interview. A few days after that, I was asked to have a Skype interview (with same person), complete a writing test, and then I spoke with another senior level regional manager over the phone.
The CM position is a remote roll, so all interviews were held over the phone or Skype. The hiring manager was very communicative via email and kept me in the loop through the entire process. I did go about 2 weeks without hearing anything back, but that was over Christmas.

Writing test questions:
1) Get us excited about a fantastic birthday party you are throwing for yourself using only 140 characters.
2) Get us really excited about the very last meal you had (even if it was cereal over your kitchen sink). 100 words.
3) Get us really, really, excited about your plans this weekend (even if your “plans” include waking up in the PM and wearing Crocs all day). 250 words.

Very simple 30 min remote interview. Asked decent questions but the job itself didn't seem appealing. They started with salary and asked me to confirm if I would like to move forward with the interview based on the salary.

The Yelp Community Manager interview process consisted of 1 phone conversation with the hiring manager, a zoom with the hiring manager, extensive writing test and final zoom interview with another team member. All of the interviews were about 30 minutes or less, and I found them really casual and easier than at many other large corporate organizations I've interviewed with. I found that I didn't learn very many details about the role until the final interview, it was very candidate focused.
