J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Yelp (Chicago, IL) en août 2021
Entretien
I was referred by a friend who just got the same job. I received a 30-45 min phone call to go over my previous work experience along with what the job entails. Then, I met on Google Meet for an hour to role play, listen to calls and give feedback, and talk about how my experience will help me with the job. Finally, I received a follow-up email to schedule another call, where they asked me what other jobs I was currently applying for/ what else I had going on, and I was offered the job and accepted. The whole time I was very positive and made it clear I would enjoy and excel at the role and that I really wanted the job. Overall the whole process took only a few days; however, my start date isn't until a little over a month after I was offered the job.

General interview questions
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Yelp (Atlanta, GA) en avr. 2026
Entretien
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They had me run through a mock sales call twice with feedback in between.
It was okay, the salary is quite low and does not match the market for similar roles. I think that the actual interview is not hard, but it is hard to stay motivated knowing the salary number.
