J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Wise (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
Four stages:
1) Introductory call with a future colleague, discussing past experiences, what I knew about the company etc. Brief <30 min call.
2) Take-home data assignment with 7 days to complete. The test consisted of a dataset and some questions to be answered, coupled with a ".. and anything else that you find interesting" catchall at the end. I did the whole task in Python and a little of Tableau, but you can use other tools if you prefer.
3) On-site interview, 90ish minutes long. You present your results and motivate methodological decisions, prepare to have your assumptions and choice of statistical measures questioned. Very relaxed, interviewed with team lead and two others, after the questioning followed some more questions regarding the team's current problem formulation and lastly I had about a hundred questions of my own to ask.
4) Finally a call with the Analytics Guild lead. Friendly chat, spanned about an hour and consisted of further questions about previous projects, my interest in the company and the role itself. I had further questions regarding the role and how analytics are done in TransferWise here that were answered in full.
All in all the process was relaxed and everyone I interacted with was super friendly and were quick to answer any questions I had.

Did a first round, was quite impressed with their system and processes, it was interesting to learn about the company in detailed and they are a budding fintech, seems like a fun environment .

Question 1
introduction and background, experience in handling management
- Too many interview stages
- Disconnected questions
- Take candidates for granted - 5 interviews with feedback as unsuitable for role based on experience. Waste of candidates' time
- Referred for another vacancy where recruiter didn't turn up and then reported back saying I was absent

Question 1
Random questions, like what currency would you report sales in for Wise?
Was directly contacted by the recruiter and asked to join a call with the manager. The manager arrived and just said:" let me tell you about our company and then you can tell me about yourself". No greetings, no interest in the candidate. I felt he had come with a decision in his mind already! I never felt he was interested in knowing my background as a team member. I will not work for someone like this.
