I met via teams with the manager of this position and the outgoing person in this role. I had another interview with two others at vanguard scheduled when I received a call with a job offer for the position . I then asked their internal recruiter if there was any room for negotiation of the base salary. The next day I received a call back from her saying no and was told that the offer was rescinded.
