Coding challenge pre-screen: some general knowledge multiple choice questions and 2-3 coding challenges, last one being the most difficult/time-consuming (I'd estimate it as LeetCode medium).
Phone screen: typical behavioral questions, technical experience, why you're looking at Vanguard, questions like "how have you handled disagreements with coworkers", etc.
Behavioral/technical interview: standard stuff, generally meant to gauge if you can fit into culture and to get an idea of how much experience you have under your belt. You are assigned a system design problem and given 30 minutes to draft a solution and explain your implementation and thought process. Some light technical questions, nothing extreme.
It was a 2 round process one with HR and the other with the manager they dug deep on my resume and my past projects and previous working experience along with behavioral questions.

Met with Team Leader via online meeting. Basic programming questions, became more broad. He was late, it was a Friday morning, and it looked like he had just woken up.

Question 1
Basic concepts, rxjs fundamentals, how would you reverse a string, etc.
They started by introducing themselves and giving me a quick overview of the company, the team structure, and what the role would involve. Then they asked me to talk a bit about myself and walk through my resume. I highlighted a few projects that matched the job description, and they seemed really interested in my work with data visualization.
