I interviewed for a contract position. The actual interview process was fine and not too complicated, I had three interviews. During the offer stage, they made an offer and put it in writing outlining the details. The following day as I was about to accept it, they rescinded the offer because they apparently thought they had two positions open and then in turns out they only had one. Then, they made me wait almost a week more until they rejected me. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect before to be given an offer that was then rescinded. Definitely sounds like they are a mess from this hiring process so I guess I dodged a bullet.
