The entire hiring process was a single tour approximately 30 minutes long. The 1-2 supervisors lead a tour around the manufacturing floor accompanied by 3-4 leads during. I was in a tour group of about 10 other applicants. We were encouraged to ask interesting questions to try and impress the hiring managers and leads etc. After the short tour the hiring team left us to our recruiter who showed us to the exit where we exchanged phone numbers and left. After about 3-4 hours we received a call regarding whether we had been chosen for the position or not.

Degrading having to build a childs toy to compete with other adults for a position, while a table of at least 10 managers and team leaders watched making notes. I had over 13 years experience and didn't get the job as I was too old to have every used the type of toy to build. Unfair system not allowing people to prove themselves. Just because someone does well on the day, it doesn't mean they were the best for the job. Had I known the outcome I would have expressed my thoughts on the day. I found some of managment smug and personal which I felt discriminated by too.

Group interview day. It consisted of a lab aptitude test, tour of various departments, a group team building activity and then an interview with two hiring managers. It lasted around 2 hours overall, the interview itself was very short.

Interviewed with the recruiter first then the hiring manager. I knew the same day that I got the job. I accepted the offer but I only lasted a few months. The training is like elementary school where you’ll get in trouble for having your phone out
