I had a negative experience interviewing at the Crawley branch of Thales (online interview) for the ISR Air division. The interview was scheduled to be one hour, one of the interviewers spent 45 min asking very detailed and specific technical questions, that in my opinion, are not a reflection of technical ability and can be learned on the job. She didn’t give the change for the other interviewer to ask many questions and really, felt like a grilling more than a get to know you interview. They weren’t interested in the person, which really threw me off because it matters who you work with. One of the interviewers ended up laughing at me when I asked a question at the end - just completely rude and dismissive. I wouldn’t want to work here even if I did get an offer, it’s just as much about the people as well as the technical ability.
