I submitted my application and resume online. I received a call from a recruiter who conducted a phone screen with me. At the end she told me that she would like to put me in contact with a district manager for further interviews. This took some time as the fiscal year was ending and everyone was busy. I had the one on one interview with the DM who told me that I would hear from the recruiter with his decision in about 5 days. I got a call from her the next day. She sent me a link to submit information for a background check. About 4 days later she called and offered me the job. The salary was more then I was expecting so I accepted.

Phone interview with a recruiter who expects STAR style answers. The questions are pretty standard and easy to find online, so prep isn’t hard. Honestly, the toughest part, if you’re already an internal employee, is getting the interview in the first place. You really have to show your managers that you’re serious about moving into the role.
