J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Spotify en mars 2023
Entretien
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within a few days. The recruiter was very rude and condescending from the beginning of the call when she started asking questions about my background. There was no response after the call for a week and finally an email was sent that I would not be moving forward. She also made sure to add that no feedback would be given either. I wonder why? This wasting of time and treatment is disgusting no matter what economy we are in.

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Spotify (Londres, Angleterre) en mai 2026
Entretien
The early stages of the process were genuinely positive. The recruiter screening call was friendly and informative, and the technical coding interview was well run - two interviewers who were clearly engaged, practical problems rather than abstract puzzles, and a focus on process and communication over getting to a perfect solution. I came away feeling good about it.
I passed the coding round and was invited to the final loop - four interviews covering system design, iOS domain, coding standards and values. I submitted my availability and confirmed dates via GoodTime. That's where things fell apart.
Despite three follow-up emails over a two week period, I received no response from the recruiter. No confirmation, no rejection, no explanation. The role remained live on the careers site throughout. I was simply never heard from again.
Getting to the final round of a process and then being ghosted with no communication is not a good experience, and it's not something I'd expect from a company of Spotify's profile. The engineers I spoke to in the process were great. The recruiter coordination let the whole thing down badly.
Pros: Friendly interviewers, well structured technical round, clear process explained upfront.
Cons: Complete breakdown in recruiter communication at the final stage. No response to multiple follow-ups.
