The last thing I wanted to do, was to make you feel uncomfortable during our 10-minute phone interview. If I did that, I apologize. I start with a phone interview so we can get to know you and to make sure we can meet your job expectations. The questions I asked every candidate was:
1.) Tell me a little more about you, that your resume doesn’t already say.
2.) What strengths do you think you will bring that will help you with this role?
3.) Do you have QuickBooks Experience?
4.) Why are you leaving your current job?
5.) Do you have any questions or concerns about working here?
6.) What is your salary & health insurance requirements?
The first three questions are asked to review your qualifications. The final three questions are asked to make sure we can meet your job requirements. There is no reason to ask how old you are, so we don’t ask the age of any applicant.
I really appreciate you leaving this feedback. I believe that criticism is the best gift you can give someone… because it allows all of us to be better. Thanks, and good luck on your job search. ~ Bryan Sebring
