Overall very pleasant interview experience and was offered the position of relief manager. Initial in- person interview with distrcit manager was about 30 minutes, and was followed up by a second phone interview with the regional manager.

Question 1
"Are you okay with 50% of your day being spent outdoors and the other 50 % in the office?"
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Public Storage (Charleston, SC) en oct. 2009
Entretien
Met with District manager at a public Storage location, went over job duties and responsibilities, simple questions related to customer service and selling products. Quick overview of property locations and hourly salary. Manager asked me to demonstrate selling technique on randomly selected item. Was able to met current relief and property managers at the locations where I was interviewing. Very informal location and straight forward interview process. District manager asked to setup a meeting with me and another property manager the following day to learn and view the location they desired me to work at. Drove to location the next day and toured the property, current manager went over a informal run down of position and its requirements. Was called the following day to meet with district manager again, offered position, filled out paperwork and went to have drug test done the same day. Began work the following Monday and went through long training process with videos, questionnaire and simple tests. Very easy process and very basic job requirements initially.

Straight forward, honest, and let’s you know all responsibilities upfront. No surprises when I started working. Great overall experience with the hiring manager and she was very supportive. I was late to my interview due to my own fault and she still allowed me to interview.
