1. First, I was contacted via LinkedIn by the Oracle recruiter. 2. I expressed my interest in the position. 3. Had an initial phone interview with the recruitment team (1 person). 4. Hiring manager's interview about (60 min). This is not a super technical interview round-ask about the current role and details about the automation framework project that I developed. About regular day at work . 5. Immediate reporting manager (Lead)'s interview (60 min)- Somewhat technical. They asked about how I handled the issues. 6. Homework assignment to complete within 5 days- Asked to develop a test automation solution.(Not super hard if you have a working knowledge of Java,automation test tools.) Show your best architectural and design skills. 7. Pair Interview with a senior team member(60 min) - mostly discussed about the homework assignment. He did run the project and asked why I did design like that (have to have your reasons), how I handled exceptions, why some exceptions are not worth handling. It was a friendly discussion. 8. Interview with the QA Architect (60 min)- Friendly person, but the most difficult round. Super technical. Asked to write the algorithm for reversing an LinkedList. How Java String works at the JVM level , gave me an example function and what could be the output. Gave me an function and what will be its output. What he wanted to see was my thought process and how I approach to solve an issue. 8. Interview with the local director- Friendly discussion and asked about my previous work. Tips- Make sure you know your CV very well. You will have to answer including the situation to validate your scenario. Be a human more than an engineer. Don’t try to show off as a super technical Superman. They test your mental integrity when you are under high pressure. Don't lie /make up stories; they will know how to capture.

They scheduled online interview for 1 hour but they took it for 1.5h and asked too many questions. Even though I answered most of them they were not selected me. I asked HR for feedback, and she told me I got very low scores on everything. But I'm pretty confident about what I've answered.
