One video interview with two people with technical background. After being short listed from the interview proceeded to usual background/police checks and referee checks. The total process took about 3 weeks.

Consisted of 2 Parts; Technical and Behavioral.
Technical: Started off with basic theory questions followed by some scenario based questions where applicant has to explain how to solve the issue.
Behavioral: Mostly related to customer focus and work ethics which are important parts of the specific Job.

Internal referal counts alot in Optus for shortlisting the CV. After shortlisting there will be 1 or max 2 rounds of interview in a friendly environment. You will have chance to present you strong and key skills based on which further questions will be asked.

Discussed about my previous role, job responsibilities other topics based on resume. everything went well, and within interview hiring manager gave indication of positive outcome... got the confirmation from agent next day
