I applied for the position and received an email for the initial phone interview within a few days. The phone interview was 15 minutes long and was so awkward that I wasn't sure I would accept other invitations for future interviews. The interviewer was in such a hurry they kept cutting me off and obviously did not have interest in reading my resume or application because they kept asking if I had done real estate before (ummm I've been licensed agent for 7+ years). They did not seem to take me seriously. Very rude. I found it very difficult to communicate with them. However, my virtual interviews through GoogleMeet went well. I had 3 1:1 interviews 30-40 minutes long. All three interviewers were very pleasant and friendly. They asked good questions. The questions should have been more real estate related. They also liked the questions I asked back and were very responsive to me. I was surprised I did not receive an offer due to how well the interviews went but I am also not surprised. I believe my professional knowledge of the real estate industry and being a licensed agent was to blame for not receiving an offer. I knew too much about the reality of the RE industry and had concerns about the ethics behind Opendoors business practices and the longevity of a RE "startup".
