I applied online. I received a call to schedule a phone interview with hiring manager. After the initial phone interview, , a 2nd phone interview with direct supervisor was scheduled. After completing the 2nd interview an in-person interview. The interviewers used the STAR method during the process. I was told that I interviewed well and although they were impressed with education and experience, they went with another candidate.

Quick interview, interviewers were helpful and friendly. The recruiters made it easy through the online assessment, and setting up the interview. Gave me directions on where to park and how to find the building.

They are going through a rigid list of preset questions that makes you feel like you are in an interrogation rather than an interview. Your answers are expected to be presented in the STAR format: S - Situation, T - Task, A - Action, R - Results. There were two people in the room and one person on the phone during the interview. I did not feel as if I clicked with any of them. Even though I consider myself a strong interview candidate, I left feeling that I had not impressed them in the slightest. This operation was being relocated to the Des Moines offices and several jobs were coming from Tennessee. The interviewer was almost antagonistic with me from the start and it didn't get much better from there.
