met the staff of the project and then the projector, not difficult in general. some swe process question, some technical questions but mostly not too deep. but that was a team who got acquired by msft for a couple of years, so the process could be a bit different than the regular msft process

Applied through their portal, got an automated confirmation email, then two weeks later received a generic rejection. No interview, no phone screen, no assessment - unfortunately I just got straight up rejected.

First is recruiter call and then there is assessment. you will need to be available for virutal onsite interview meaning 4-5 rounds will be conducted in one day with short gap in between. there is one system design round and three technical-behavioral round
