1 initial round with HR for her to understand my experience and a couple of technical questions like how to troubleshoot a slow API etc. After that it was a 90-min loop, 2 of those rounds were SQL. First round was fairly easy and the interviewer was very understanding of the fact that it had been a long time since I worked on SQL(as expected of someone who works with LLMs). But I had no space to write the query myself, not allowed to share my screen either so had to dictate what I wanted. Second call was not possible due to issues on the interviewer's side but they mentioned it was SQL as well. Third call was with a s/w engg manager and a data engg manager mostly to understand my experience with software engineering and a scenario-based question (which I was able to answer). The second call which was not possible due to technical issues on the interviewer's side did not end up taking place, and I was rejected which sort of ticked me, but I guess my feedback might not have been good. Overall the process was quite easy but it's just that I was not as prepared

JD was misleading. Had an HR round and a 90-min tech panel. SQL questions were easy, but they forgot to set up the coding platform, so I had to write code by hand. No screen sharing either — I guess some people could’ve used AI without anyone noticing.

Process was simple with one technical interview with senior engineers. It included basic ML questions to complex agentic workflow related questions. Hypothetical scenerios based technical questions to check approach to a technical solution. Lastly a coding exercise.
