There are 2 rounds of interview on the same day. I cleared both the rounds and got selected. After filling the HR employment form, they called me for HR discussion where the salary negotiation was discussed. Before facing the interview, I had mentioned the expectation salary. But they reacted in such a way that as if I told something bigger than their standard. Then they asked me to wait until the person who mailed me come to office, as he was on leave. Finally after 10 days I got a call and they asked me to join next day but package was just half of my expectation. For a candidate of 4.6 yrs experience who also worked abroad at client location 5 lakh/annum is definitely unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous. I said NO and that is the end of the process. If they don't have the ability to pay as per candidate's expectation, they should not call for the interview at all.
