Recruiter reached out to me, had a phone screen with recruiter, interactive programming session online with a senior team member, Skype interviews with the California team, In person interview with director, another phone screen with hiring manager in California. The HR Recruiter was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. She very readily answered questions, and provided any information needed.
The role however, was kind of a bait and switch. It is advertised as a Sr. Architect role, however, when I received the offer, it was something else entirely (a Sr. Engineer role, which is equivalent in hierarchy, but not the role advertised on the site / Glassdoor).
I declined due to this, as well as: no regular work from home policy despite manager being in a different state, expectation to work overtime without comp time or OT pay, open concept office space instead of proper private cubes, and finally their desire to find an Android expert, but force all of the new development to essentially be web based.
