After one or two initial phone screens: either an interview panel or individual interviews that are packed into one day. Could be in person, or these days virtual with their technology that is sometimes not reliable.
Questions tend to be situational, hypothetical and could have multiple correct answers, depending on your management style. However, there seems to be an unspoken typical style that is being sought after. Your style may be perfectly fine and consistent with the company CREDO; however, if you don't fit the specific mold they are looking for, you won't be in the final selection. Another thing to be aware of - they usually already know who they will promote to the position from within. From some reason, J&J/Janssen feels the need to advertise to the world when they have an opening, even when they know that they have already filled it. Unfortunate for you, if you don't have info from the inside, you won't know this. So, after going through a rigorous interview process, you won't know why you didn't get the job, or you will be given a vague reason in the feedback on your interview that is not really reflective of your interview performance, skills or expertise, and certainly not constructive. The outcome will be a wasted vacation day or day off without pay from your current occupation.
