Interview process started on time, technically strong, all real time questions. But I rejected offer due to the below story. "Worst Ever cheat on the day of offer"... I am a 13 Year experienced . I had called for an interview with JPMC Bangalore, It went well. And HR called me for Salary negotiation and she come up with the number(25% hike ) which is less below my expectation and communicated the same, After a Week she called me again and come up with the number(30%) which was mid of my expectation and above the previous number. We had mutually agreed the number and I confirmed my joining. Then she had told me that she will rollout the offer in three days. I was awaiting for their mail/call. On the third day she called me and said higher management didn't agree to rollout with 30% and they had given only 10% hike. I was surpring ,you had come up with the number without being approved by higer management ?. is it on your own number ?. Does recruitment Hr have the ability to ask the higer management how can you roll out some number and the day of offer you had reduce the number which is been communicated to "so called interviewed person ". Dont we have some respect to the experienced person before you had rollout the number for the mutual agreement ?. How it make the belive in JPMC... I can suggest who ever go for on interview, Please ask for the salary negotiation and what they can pay you max before you waste couple of HRS with JPMC and being cheated like this.

The interview process was well-structured and professional. It started with an online application, followed by an online assessment that included aptitude questions and basic technical/problem-solving tasks. After clearing that, I was invited for 2–3 interview rounds. The first round focused on technical and role-specific questions along with some questions on past projects and experience. The interviewer also asked about problem-solving approaches and how I handled challenges in previous roles or academic work. The next round was more behavioral, with questions around teamwork, leadership, and situational scenarios. They were particularly interested in understanding cultural fit and how well I aligned with the company’s values. Overall, the interviewers were friendly and gave enough time to think through answers. The difficulty level was moderate — not overly tricky but required good preparation and clarity of concepts.Tip: Be clear on your fundamentals, prepare examples for behavioral questions, and have a good understanding of what JPMorgan Chase does.

I recently went through a technical interview for a mid-to-senior level engineering role, and the experience was quite disappointing. The interviewer did not provide any introduction or context about the role or the session, and instead immediately jumped into technical questions without setting expectations. The discussion started with low-level commands and syntax-related questions, but without clarifying the goal or what was being evaluated. When I attempted to explain my reasoning or ask clarifying questions, the responses were minimal and sometimes dismissive, which made the interaction feel one-sided. There was also a lack of structure in how the questions were asked. Some topics shifted abruptly (for example, from basic command-level questions to conceptual topics like data structures), without a clear flow or objective. This made it difficult to understand what the interviewer was trying to assess. Overall, the interview did not feel like a constructive technical conversation. It lacked collaboration, clear communication, and professionalism. I would recommend better interviewer training and a more structured and respectful approach to candidate evaluation.
