I applied online during the weekend and they got back to me a day after--very quick--in which the HR representative asked for a half-hour availability for a phone screen. During this phone screen, she asked me why I was interested in the position, asked me to tell her about myself, asked whether I had experience with Hubspot's platform (which I will tell you right now is what they prefer), and really impounded the fact that I would be getting paid $35K a year. Anyway, I passed the initial HR phone screen and then set up an in-person interview where I met with the manager who would be directly above me, and then HER manager, and then the HR representative again at the end. The manager asked me more about myself, why I was interested in the position, what's one fear I overcame--she wasn't really responsive to my answers (which I don't think is a very good quality of interviewers) and we had some time at the end for more questions than I wanted to ask. Next was her boss, who was better in terms of responsiveness. He was very quick and blunt and no-nonsense about his questions and responses and will be quick to call you out on BS on your resume. Make sure you can defend any weak spots in your resume. He asked me whether I could explain what my current job did in laymen's terms and whether I could do the same for Hubspot. After that, I talked with the HR person again and she asked me how much I wanted the position out of 10. Waited a few more days after that live interview and was not extended an offer to proceed to the next round of interview, but the overall experience wasn't bad at all. Pleasant HR representative and the interviewers were decent conversationalists.

I had a 3-step interview process that consisted of a brief phone call followed by a zoom demo consisting (quick chat and mock customer support call) and finished it off with an on-site 2 hour interview with 3 managers. The whole process was quick and efficient with awesome hiring managers that were very communicative and responsive. I had an awesome experience and would recommend anyone on the job hunt to apply to HubSpot.
