I was contacted by a recruiting coordinator for an initial phone screen. The call with one of the recruiters was arranged quickly and took place a couple of days later. We went through my background and experiences, talked about the role and responsibilities. Pretty standard. I was then told that they would need a couple of weeks to determine next steps and that I will hear back soon. Well, after four weeks and two follow-ups, still nada. The irony is that every company emphasizes candidate experience (no exception here), yet, most have a hard time adhering to their own "best practices," BUT as a Recruiter-candidate, you will be judged harshly on your approach and philosophy. HelloFresh is no exception. Feels a bit hypocritical, given that (apparently) candidates don't deserve a followup email.

Quite long, and in depth but also lots of interesting conversations.
Multiple stages, people and quite a time commitment. However, I felt stimulated in the interviews and it was quite an organic conversation
Hiring manager was late to the first phone interview, cutting the time in half. For the virtual interview, I received a rejection email the day after but it was very generic and templated. I think this is where they should personally reach out and give feedback. Questions weren't really asked based on your experience/resume, sounded like they ask everyone the same thing.

Over the past year, I have interviewed with HelloFresh for two separate roles. During the first process, I had four interviews, and in the final interview the manager told me how much she loved my transferable skills and my background. I was then rejected and only told that I did not have the correct areas of development needed for the role, which is vague. When asked for feedback, I did not get a response.
The second time around, I had a wonderful first interview and I was almost certain I would be moving on. A week later, I received a form rejection email. I was very confused based on how positive my conversation went, and received no response when I asked for feedback.
I can't be the only candidate that has been treated like this by HelloFresh. This is very disappointing.
