Even though the whole process was very hard and time-consuming, the recruiter was really helpful and friendly. I had a total of 4 interviews where they all asked me behavioral questions using the STAR method. They consistently gave me positive feedback throughout the process. However, after the final interview, one week later the recruiter informed me that the position had been put on hold. To make it even worse, literally the next day, I saw the same position with the same description was opened again on job boards. So despite the "friendly and opened" atmosphere, I didn't feel they were completely honest and transperant. It was a disappointing and stressful experience.
