I applied to several positions within the Client Services organization.
I had a recommendation from within the organization and ticked most of the boxes in the job ad.
The first interview was scheduled quickly and was pretty smooth (in my opinion). We talked about my previous experience and the positions that Gartner have posted.
After a week I got a letter telling me that I do not match what they are looking for and I was not considered further on to any of the positions that I applied for.
The feedback from the recruiter was very minimum, it felt that I was not enough "American" in the way of presenting myself. I was told that I didn't use specific real-life examples (which I did, but I guess the recruiter did not like them).
Overall, I got rejected to 3 positions over one first phone call interview, while I was meeting the hard skills that were listed in all job ads. I think it was a bit quick from the Gartner side.
I believe they look for very junior people in Client Service organizations and specific profiles like mine did not match their American culture.
