      Sent my resume via their website, and received a message from the recruiter approximately 2 weeks later to setup a phone interview (Since I am not in the same state). The interview was brief, I was suprised I even got an interview considering my work experience and the experience they were looking for. I figured at some point the Director of Customer Experience would ask about my short work experience but the topic never came up. The conversation was enjoyable, I was very knowledgeable about the organization, but extremely brief. I got a letter a week later saying they were pursuing other candidates with more work experience. When I realized that they weren't going to ask me about my work experience, and I knew it would be a mark against me I should have made a point to discuss it. It's nice that they will give individuals the oportunity who don't necessarily meet all the job requirments, but they will not necessarily ask you to explain your shortcomings. You need to head it off and make a point to discuss it.

      I applied online and was contacted by one of their recruiters that I would be qualified to interview for the Client Services Manager position based upon my background and skills. Interview was directly with the Director of Client Services. She seemed awesome, very personable and had lots of passion on working at EventBrite. My advice is to polish up on your customer service and management background. Think of various examples at when you excelled at not only managing your clients but your employees.

      Entretien

      Phone interview lasted about 15 minutes and it was fairly behavior in nature. I was asked in for an interview that consisted of four individuals taking roughly 15-20 min. each asking a variety of questions. Three of interviewers had various experience, but all were part of the client services team, and would possibly be be direct reports to the role for which I was interviewing. The head of recruiting was the 4th. There was not much overlap of questions. The process took roughly two hours, but it was fast paced and the people were very nice.

      I was surprised that no one asked any questions about my knowledge of the Eventbrite service, site or existing client experience .. so I volunteered some thoughts and ideas to the recruiting head, as he was the most senior of the interviewers.
