Seven sessions including HR screening. Each of the last three sessions was the interview by an engineer instead of having a panel interview. Other than that, one hiring manager session and one session with a local coworker.

I met with a recruiter initially to see if I'd be a good fit personality-wise with the company. They felt I was a good fit, and then set up four followup interviews for various aspects of the role. It felt very rigorous and thorough. Since this was a technical position, I built a project on the DO platform to demonstrate my skillset and interests.
