I had applied for deloitte off campus and gave my exam in the month of october. It was taken through AMCAT, and it had the following sections 1) verbal 2) Logical reasoning 3) quantitative 4) Java 5) sql 6) HTML 7) computer programming All the rounds were quite easy and didn't seem that challenging, except maybe the programming section. After this the selected people were called for interview (Level 1) virtually and we were told that subject to selection in this interview we will be called for Level 2 interview. Here comes the fishy and annoying part. Level 1 interview was of to be held over zoom call , they asked us to join the zoom call in the morning at 10:00 AM. Only after joining the zoom call were we made aware of the exact time when our interview will be held, and my slot was at 11:45 .(They could have directly asked us to join the zoom call in the interview email but no, we had to wait in the zoom call waiting room wasting our time. I had also taken leave from office and they had no respect for our time. After this the interview was of just 15 mins. The person taking the interview was not at all interested and seemed to just taking the interview for the sake of it. He asked me just two questions. 1. What is your name and please give a short introduction. 2. Brief us on the internship which you did. This was it, This was all they wanted to know if whether the candidate was eligible for the next round of interview or not, an absolute waste of time this was in my experience. They claim they are a good company and all but their respect for others time is zero and it seemed like they already made a decision on who to select for the role of Analyst and conduction of the interview was just a namesake and a farce.
