2 phases interview but I ended without offer sadly but good experience. First phase : 1- RH interview really friendly you need to talk about yourself. 2- Live coding 1h : 2 problem easy. Phase 2: Meeting with Tech recruiter 1h System design : you don’t need tips just use your previous experience and some tech background and you need to show your decision. 2h live coding : literally they said this will be harder than previous ones but for me problems was easier , here the only tip MAKE IT SIMPLE NO OVERTHINKING, I literally was thinking there is a trap this is not the question and stress can ruin your interview so just start with simple answer and clarify the problem before start writing anything 1h talking with staff engineer, and it was the only exciting part for me because you will have freedom Overall the interviews in Datadog is about how you will deal with your stress otherwise easy to have and nice people they will help you.

1- BFS + Strings 2-System design streaming service 3- story with streaming and logs and query( problem you have list of strings format (command:data) filter the array with command and show data if you have 10 data with the same command you will print the indexes of each data however in the example I had 2 commands so 2 arrays and this was clear for me in the last 10 minutes) Second problem : BufferClass that takes a size and interface with write method . Depends on the size you need to write and flush every time you reach the limit Solution easy recursive call with the rest from the giving size and you need to keep track of the last index.

- Second round : coding interview, system design, project & values (presentation of a project I worked on and where I had a major impact, followed by behavioural questions)
- Team match (team managers present their teams and projects and you choose the one you prefer)

I really appreciated the care from the recruiting team during this interview process. The recruiter made sure to check in at each step and provide feedback (which is rare to receive in this industry). I was also very impressed by the kindness of all of my interviewers and their willingness to answer all of my questions.

Entretien
Le premier entretien RH se focalise sur l'experience, les motivations, le fit avec l'offre. S'en suivent deux entretiens de coding (test d'algorithmique style leetcode). Suite à ça, un entretien de system design, dont l'objectif est de tester les capacités à concevoir l'architecture technique pour répondre à un problème vague donné en début d'entretien. Puis enfin un entretien sur l'expériences et les valeurs (discussion technique sur un projet + questions comportementales). Le process est clair, le talent acquisition manager m'a donné des conseils tout au long du process pour bien préparer les entretiens.
