I had interviews with seven different people over the course of about seven months. The whole time, they made it seem like an offer was imminent and it was just a matter of them needing time to get their budget/finances in order. In the end, I was totally ghosted. None of my emails, texts, or LinkedIn messages were replied to. I think it was selfish of them to keep me on the hook for so long when I could have been focusing on finding employment elsewhere.
