I applied for AE role in Ireland and initially had a call with recruitment team in Boston which went well, They asked about experience, why cargurus etc..
I then was set up for 3 back to back 30 minute interviews with Sales dircetor, team leader and finally sales manager. The first 2 went well, like most sales interviews there was a good structure to them but the last one didn't really seem like they knew what to ask.. They just kept looking around and then would say "emm tell me about this" or that! No structure at all and seemed like didn't want to be there! I asked for feedback at the end and was told it was a good interview and that there was a couple more people interviewing for the role. The thing that annoyed me the most however was that after taking the hour and 30 minutes to do the interviews back to back that I wasn't even sent one email or got one phone call to say if I was successful or not, completely wasted my time and felt so un professional the final part.

After applying it said it would be 1-2 weeks to hear something back. That ended up being 4 weeks before I was contacted to interview. They had scheduling issues so I offered to call out of my current job to make the interview happen in a timely manner.
When I finally interviewed it was very scripted and cold. I would think there was a bit more emphasis on candidate personality considering this is a sales role. During the interview, which consisted of generic questions one of the interviewers was completely and obviously distracted checking emails or something of the sort. At the end I asked what to expect as far as hearing back, they told me “a couple business days.”
When I reached out after 12 days, I was met with a snarky email from the recruiter saying he didn’t bother to contact me because I hadn’t followed up. I had no way of knowing the recruiter who I had had one phone call with the someone I should be following up with. Especially after asking hiring managers what expectations were for hearing back/follow up.
The entire process was disorganized and insulting.

Entretien
The recruiter was responsive and efficient in communicating what the interview process would entail. They provided feedback within 24 hours of the interview and helped set expectations as to what to prepare for the next round. Although I did not end up taking the job, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend others to look at CarGurus.

Entretien
Very efficient process. Initial call with a recruiter, followed by three back to back meetings with team leads and managers lasting about 45 minutes each. If that goes well, you meet with another manager and a VP. Recruiter reaches out with decision soon after.
