      Entretien pour Financial Audit

Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Capital One (Richmond, VA) en sept. 2007

      Entretien

Phone screen was fine, good questions going over experience & education. Was with HR rep assigned to Audit. She seemed very solid. Was invited for a visit, that consisted of a GMAT type test first thing in the morning, a bit of a pain but must have passed it as I was asked to come back after lunch. Was taken to lunch with a Audit Manager, nothing too special. Then back for a series of 1:1 and group interviews and several situational case studies. These involved algebraic equations, and situational analysis. The problem with the day is that they had a large series of questions that several groups and individuals worked through with me all day. But the qestions were for a specialist in Capital Markets and Treasury. They mixed me up with someone else, and no matter how many times I asked them to check, the next group came in with the same sheet and asked similar situational questions for a Treasury auditor. It was a nightmare. Was pretty unimpressed with the quality of the team, young and inexperienced mostly, and the managers were not up to speed on major current events. They might have been having a off day and are possibly much better in other situations, but as a group they did not show the ability to change direction in a pinch, and showed very little sense of humor.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Something like "If it costs .02 cents to print up a mailer and .20 cents to mail it and each marketing lead costs .001 cents but we can buy a list that should give is a 1.5% response rate and of those we will land 1% and they will carry and average balance of $1,000 for the year and we earn 10% on that is it better to buy the list or purchase the leads.
