Capital One has a very structured recruiting process. It starts with a phone interview with the recruiter. From there, the assessment exam is next. Which sections you have to take depend on the role you applied for. Mine assessment included the verbal reasoning and situational judgement. Essentially, critical thinking and leadership style. Once you take and pass that, the next step was a phone interview with the hiring manager. If selected, the next step is what they call the "Power Day". This is essentially a rather full day of interviews with different people. These interviews include Job Fit, Behavioral and a Case Interview.

The interview process was lengthy and poorly coordinated, with no clear turnaround time communicated by the Talent Acquisition team. While interviews were scheduled for one hour, they often extended up to four hours without prior notice. Additionally, despite multiple follow-ups, there was no communication from the TA team regarding the outcome if the candidate was not selected. Overall, the experience reflected a lack of structure and professionalism in the interview process.
Furthermore, the functional head asked questions that were not relevant to the role and prolonged the discussion unnecessarily, without due consideration for the candidate’s time.

I had a deeply disappointing interview experience with their leadership. The questions were irrelevant, and the behavior throughout was unprofessional. Interview slots were extended without any prior intimation, and despite multiple follow-ups,
The Talent Acquisition team has not responded. To date, there has been no communication regarding the interview outcome or feedback.
After investing over seven hours in a lengthy interview process, the lack of any revert from the TA team reflects extremely poor candidate experience overall.

Solid. Too many interviews to be honest. I was glad once the interview was over. i would say that I wish that there was more feedback given by the hiring manager. Overall solid.
